1. Adjective of Quality :- The Adjective of Quality adds a quality to a noun or a pronoun .

Ex = Akbar was a great and wise king .

2. Adjective of Quantity :- The Adjective of Quantity tells us quantity or amount of something .

Ex = He has spent some money.

3. Adjective of Number :- Adiective of Number tells us definite or indefinite number of persons or things.

( i ) Definite Adjectives of Number: Definite Adjective of Number tells exact number of persons or things.

Ex = two mangoes, four books, etc.

( ii ) Indefinite Adjectives of Number: Indefinite Adjective of number does not indicate an exact number of persons or things.

Ex = a few books, some apples, no monkey, etc

4. Domenstrative Adjective :- Demonstrative Adjectives straight away point out the persons or things that they are used with.

Ex = (a) Those trees were planted by my grandfather.

(b) This book is more interesting than that .

5. Interrogative Adjective :- The words that are used with nouns to ask questions are called Interrogative Adjectives.

Ex = (a) Which man brought these fans ?

(b) Whose chair is this ?

6. Possessive Adjectives :- Possessive Adjectives are used to tell possession of something or some person.

Ex = His, her, my , etc

7. Distributive Adjectives :- Tnese are each, every, either and neither. These adjectives refer to each of number.

Ex = There lie vast fields on either side of the road.

8. Emphatic Adjectives :- These are own and very. These are used to emphasise a particuar object.
