QUESTION:-

Vedant walks 7/10 km from his home to the bus stop. He boards a bus at the bus stop and travels 3 /4 km to his school what is the total distance in that Vedant travels in

(a) meters ( b) kilometers

SOLUTION:-

  • In meters=\frac{13}{10} * 1000

                        = 1300 meters.

  • Total distance travelled by Vedant in kilometers = \frac{7}{10} + \frac{3}{5} \\\\

                                                                                          = \frac{7+6}{10} = \frac{13}{10} kilometers.

                             Hope it helps :D
