Explanation:

Sonorous. On being struck hard, the metals produce a ringing sound. Due to this property, they sonorous. For example – the school bell produces a loud ringing sound when stuck with the hammer hard. Some examples are – Iron, Gold, Copper, Aluminium, Magnesium, and many more.

Meaning of sonorous:

1. capable of giving a deep, resonant sound

2. makes a ringing sound when hit

Electron bonding in metals is highly delocalized (due to very low electronegativity). This means that when hit, the electron cloud moves extremely easily - there is very little energy dissipated. This allows the incoming kinetic energy to be easily propagated as a form of disequilibrium (wave). The basic requirement for a metal to be sonorous it should exist as a sheet and have to be of relatively low density.

Metals are strong and dense lattice structure that imparts its high strength.

This assertion is correct but the reason is wrong.
