When pollen grains stick to the stigma and the germination of a pollen tube happen. The pollen tube contain one tube nuclei and two generative nuclei. When the pollen tube come in contact with the ovule then the tube nucleus disappear. One generative nucleus fertilise with the egg cell to produce zygote and other generative nucleus fertilise the two polar nuclii to produce endosperm.
