Answer 1=Co-primes are the pair of those numbers whose common factor just includes 1 and they don't have more than two factors i.e 1 and number itself. Therefore, LCM of two co-primes is product of them. The LCM of a and b where a and b are Co-primes is ab.

Answer 2= As the name indicates HCF has F meaning factor, which is always smaller than the numbers themselves. Similarly, in LCM, M indicates a multiple , which is always larger than the numbers themselves.

Answer:

5. ab

6. LCM

Step-by-step explanation:

5. Since, the numbers are co-primes, therefore their LCM would be ab.

6. LCM is always greater than or equal to the HCF. LCM means Lowest Common Multiple. HCF means Highest Common Factor. Since multiple are always greater than or equal to the number and factors are always less than or equal to, we can say that multiple will always be bigger than factors and So the LCM is greater than the HCF.

Hope this helps.....
