Question :

What is the work done, if a force of 250 newtons  acted upon a body and the body has been moved  through a distance of 15 meters ?

Solution :

Work Done (W) : It is defined as the work done on an object as the force acting on an object in the direction of displacement .

➳ It is a scalar quantity

W = F.scosθ

➳ SI unit : Joule

Given ,

Force acting on the object (F) = 250 N

Displacement of the object (s) = 15 m

As the force is acting in the direction of displacement , so θ will be 0 .

θ = 0

➠ W = F.scosθ

➠ W = (250)(15)(cos0)

W = 3750 J  \pink{\bigstar}

What is the work done, if a force of 250 newtons acted upon a body and the body has been moved through a distance of 15 meters ?

 \huge \sf {Given}

Force acting on the object (F) = 250 N

Displacement of the object (s) = 15 m

 \huge \sf {Answer}

So,the force is attaching in the direction of the displacement .So θ will be = 0

➡️ θ = 0

➡️ W = F × cos × Cotθ

➡️ W = (250) ×(15) × (cos0)

➡️W = 3750 J
