5. What should be subtracted from -5/3 t o get 5/6 ?

Answer:

we will add these two numbers to get ⅚

because let's take an example:- ? -5=2

so when we add 5+2 we get 7 so 7-5 is 2

? -⁵/3=⅚

?=⅚+⁵/3

take L.C.M of denominators that is 6

?=⅚+¹⁰/6

?= 15/6

now for check subtract it

¹⁵/6-⁵/3

again take L.C.M 6

¹⁵/6-¹⁰/6= ⅚ your answer
