(2)Land was declared a social property and peasants were allowed to sieze the land of  the nobility

(3)In cities, Bolsheviks enforced the partition of large houses according to family requirements. They banned the use of old titles of aristocracy

(4) To assert the change, new uniforms were designed or the army and the officials, following a clothing competition organised in 1918- when the Soviet hat (budeonovka) was chosen.
