Answer:

c. Second

Explanation:

Conditional Sentences are those sentences that describe the result of something that might happen (in the present or future) or might have happened but didn't (in the past).

There are four types of conditions.

1. The Zero Conditional:

  • We can make a zero conditional sentence with two present simple verbs.
  • This conditional is used when the result will always happen.
  • The Zero Conditional follows the pattern:

(if + present simple, ........ present simple)

  • For example: If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.

2. The First Conditional:

  • The first conditional has the present simple after 'if', then the future simple in the other clause.
  • It's used to talk about things which might happen in the future
  • The First Conditional follows the pattern:

(if + present simple, .......will + infinitive)

  • For example: If it snows tomorrow, we'll stay at home.

3. The Second Conditional:

  • The second conditional uses the past simple after if, then 'would' and the infinitive.
  • We can use it to talk about things in the future that are probably not going to be true or we can use it to talk about something in the present which is impossible because it's not true.
  • The Second Conditional follows the pattern:

(if + past simple, ....... would + infinitive)

  • For Example: If I had a lot of money, I would buy a designer purse.

4. The Third Conditional

  • We make the third conditional by using the past perfect after 'if' and then 'would have' and the past participle in the second part of the sentence.
  • It talks about the past. It's used to describe a situation that didn't happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
  • The Third Conditional follows the pattern:

(if + past perfect, ....... would + have + past participle)

  • For Example: If I had gone to bed early, I wouldn't have missed the class.

What will she do if she misses the bus?

The above sentence is a Second Conditional Sentence.
