Explanation

First speed = 45 km/h

Second = 12.25 m/sec

= (12.25 × 60 × 60)/1000 km/hr

= (1225 × 60 × 60)/(100 × 1000)

= 441/10 = 44.1 km/h

It is clear from above that 45 km/h is greater.

Distance covered in 2 seconds by 45 km/h

Speed = (45 × 1000 × 2)/ (60 × 60) = 25 m

And distance covered in 2 seconds by

12.25 m/sec = 12.25 × 2 = 24.50
