A budget is an example for a single use plan.

  • A single use plan refers to plans or strategies that are made and are meant for a single time use. They are planned to be used for a purpose and once the purpose has been fulfilled it comes to an end. The main goal of such plans are to address or solve an issue. They cannot be  used repeatedly as they lose their value once they've been used. Examples of such plans are: reports, programs, etc.

  • A budget is a detailed list of expenditures that may be incurred and plans regarding how to go about such expenditure. It gives an idea as to how to utilize resources to the fullest by ensuring welfare. Budgets are planned for a time period or an event. After the end of such an event, the budget also comes to an end. It cannot be reused. Thus, budget is an example of a single use plan.
