Lysosomes contains digestive enzymes which break down the waste particles of the cells as well as the foreign particles that entered in the cell. Not only that if any cell becomes destroyed or some of the organelles of the cells are not working properly then lysosomes produces digestive enzymes and digests all the cell contains. Sometimes lysosomes digest the inner layer of the stomach when the stomach is empty then it causes ulcers.
