Stratosphere. Above the troposphere is the stratosphere, which extends to about 31 miles (50 km)

Mesosphere. From about 31 to 53 miles (50 to 85 km) above the surface of the Earth

Thermosphere. The thermosphere rises several hundred miles above the Earth's surface
