Answer:

5. Minstrels proclaimed the achievements of the heroes to preserve their memory and inspire others to follow their example. Minstrels used to deliver poems and songs that explained the stories of Rajputs and their good deeds. Because Rajput rulers were known for his bravery and their sacrifice for their country.

6. We know more about the cultural practices of rulers than about those of ordinary people because of the following reasons: Only rulers could afford minstrels and historians for records and documentation. They could preserve their records at their palaces.

7. Conquerors tried to gain control over the Jagannatha temple at Puri because: it would make their rule acceptable to the local people since the temple was important as a place of pilgrimage. the temple was also a centre of authority in social and political matters

8. Temples and other religious structures were often built by individuals or groups who were becoming powerful, to demonstrate their power and proclaim their piety. Temples were built in Bengal to house the local deities who had gained the recognition of the Brahmanas.

Hii dear here is your answer.

5.Minstrels used to recite poems and songs which depicted the stories of the 'Rajput' heroic deeds. By reciting such poems and songs these minstrels inspired others to follow the examples of Rajputs. Ordinary people were also attracted by these stories.

6.A subject follows the cultural traitsĺlĺ of a ruler or a king. The cultural practices of rulers      are more circulated due to its recognition by the people. And large people have faith upon their rulers. They could not adopt other cultural practices which their ruler did not patronised.

7.The temple of Jagganatha at Puri gained importance as a centre of pilgrimage. Its authority in social and political matters also increased. Hence, conquerors tried to establish control over the temple. They felt that this would make their rule acceptable to the local people.

8.Temples were built in Bengal because of the following reasons :-

•Increase in religious faith.

•Mosques had already been built.

•Powerful people wanted to demonstrate their power and proclaim their piety.

•Low social groups also participated in the temple building.

•New economic opportunities to people also helped in setting upto temple.

•Local dieties got importance by the brahmanas, then their image began to be housed in different temples.
