We need to plant more forests in India because:-
- Trees benefit from fighting global warming by absorbing carbon dioxide, and eliminating and storing the carbon while discharging oxygen back into the air.
- Other environmental advantages comprise the fact they help to stave off flooding and soil erosion, by absorbing thousands of litres of stormwater.
- From birds and insects to bats and squirrels, trees deliver a roof and habitat for numerous species of wildlife. But they do not just act as a home for wildlife; the fruits from trees procure food for them similarly.
- Trees help to enhance air quality by blocking and trapping dust and other pollutants from the air. The shade of trees also furnishes a useful barrier to toxic ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
- By planting more trees, it will participate in global reforestation undertakings, reclaiming lost forests, rebuilding damaged ecosystems and mitigating environmental changes.
