Honey bees are essential for the pollination of flowers, fruits and vegetables, and support about $20 billion worth of crop production in the U.S.
But the population of Honey bees is declining day by day .
- The largest contributor to the decline of bee health is the varroa mite
VARROA MITE -
It is a parasite that invades hives and and spreads diseases called McArt .
- Other reasons for the loss in population are loss of habitat and poor management practices, such as moving bees through the frigid Rock mountain
- One another reason for declining the population of honeybee is excess use of mobile phones because mobile phones release a type of radiation which is very harmful for honey bees .
