THE ARYANS LED AN AGRARIAN LIFE. THEIR CHIEF OCCUPATION WAS AGRICULTURE. DOMESTIC ANIMALS LIKE COWS HELPED THEM TO PLOUGH AND TILL THE FIELDS WHICH YIELDED A BETTER HARVEST. HORSES WERE OF GREAT IMPORTANCE TO THE KSHATRIYAS AS THE WARS THEY FOUGHT WERE MADE MORE EFFICIENT.
