your neighbourhood to find out about reading
habits of young people and how they spent their
leisure hours. A newspaper reporter interviews
you and asks you questions about your survey.

The topic which I have picked for discussion in the following dialogue is, "habits of young people and how they spent their leisure hours"
Explanation:
Interviewer: Hello, are you Ahmad, we talked on the phone earlier this morning?
Me: Yes, my name is Ahmad and you must be Mr. Jamil from Dawn News?
Interviewer: Yes, I am Jamil and I am from the educational section of my paper where we discuss topics related to the lives of students and the educational facilities in Pakistan.
Me: I am honored that you have chosen me to conduct an interview with.
Interviewer: It's not a big deal. May I start by asking that what was your research about?
Me: Well, for starters my research was about studying the habits of young people and how they spent their leisure hours now a days. My target audience were the university students of Islamabad, Pakistan. I picked a sample size of around 350 students in which the universities of National University of Science and Technology, Bahria, Air and National Defense University were included.
Interviewer: So what were your findings?
Me: Well I designed a survey and got them filled out. After that I did my analysis and I found out that the habits of students/ young people now a days is that they are always active on social media.
Interviewer: Is that so? What more did you learn ?
Me: I discovered that not only are their leisure time spent on social media, indulging in binge watching and scrolling on their cell phones but even when they are busy they are constantly checking their phones
Furthermore, whatever few people are interested in sight seeing they indulge in it so that they can take pictures and post them of social media like facebook and instagram.
Dialogue on survey:
Newspaper reporter: I am a news reporter from xyz channel. I am here to interview a student who surveyed reading habits of young people. Thank you (college student name) for letting the interview with us.
College student (you): Thank you. The pleasure is mine.
Newspaper reporter: I wanted to know whether the young people are interested in reading the book or not:
College student (you): Yes, yes, in-contrast to the development of the media and internet. Most of the young people are very interested in reading young people.
Newspaper reporter: What are the genre read by the young people?
College student (you): Young people are very interested in reading thrillers majorly psycho thriller. This was shocking for all us in this survey.
Newspaper reporter: Whether the young people are forced to read or they read themselves?
College student (you): now-a-days, due to lack of time, parents are not involving their time in children's life. This lead to bottling of the feelings inside them. This lead to reading of the book by themselves.
Newspaper reporter: Well, thank you (college student name) for your time and allowing us to know about the reading habit of the young people.
College student (you): I had a great time. Thank you.
