I am a resident in a cily of Pokhara of repal. I am writing this letter to include a tocal heritage ite. Taai Barahi temple on horld Heritage list. The Lemple is a famous burist destination with significant importance in this city and couniry If think it is quatified to be included in the list and its unique geographically, it is located in this midle of a big take and also shows snecial architecture and beauty of a place. sumoun ded by lake and hills.
It is a pagoda style temple devoted to shakti, a Hindu mother goddess. It is betieved that shakti in the form of Durga protect from demons While defeating Ajima. Ithas a long history with people. Original structure of temple is made of stone and thatched roof. It has a dramatic beauty as it lies on an island in fewa lake. It also has its own legends and provides living for people in the surroundings so due to its uniqueness. I hope youtl fuifill request of people of this city.
