1-Water Pollution
Water gets polluted when harmful substances such as waste from the industries or garbage mixed with it. Various types of pollutants enter water through sewage,Industrial and farm wastage.These pollutants harm plants and animals life and make water unfit for us as well.It cannot be used either for cooking or for drinking.
Affection-Water pollution can cause many water-borne diseases such as cholera,typhoid,dysentery and jaundice. Polluted water can also damage crops and aquatic plants. When animals drink polluted water,they can fall sick or even die.It can cause harm to fish and other marine life as well.
Prevention-
1. Waste from factories and industries should be treated before being released in the water bodies.
2. Sewage treatment plant should be made and sewage should be released only after having been treated in these plants.
3. Judicious use of pesticides should be encourage among the farming community.They should be educated about the benefits of using organic farming.

Both Water and Air pollution affect humans life in various ways such as:
Air is contaminated by unwanted substances which have a harmful effect on both the living and non-living. Vehicles produces high level of pollutants like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide etc....which causes breathing difficulties such as asthma, cough, wheezing in children, respiratory diseases and including parmanent lung damage also. Similarly when harmful substances such as sewage, toxic chemicals, silt etc get mixed with water, the water becomes polluted...and if we intake that same dirty water it affects our body.
WAYS TO PREVENT:-
AIR POLLUTION
- Do car poll.
- Go by walk to nearby places rather than using vehicle.
- By not burning firewood and dung cakes
WATER POLLUTION
- Water treatment plants
- Save clean drinking water
- Dispose of toxic chemicals properly
