5/x-1+1/y-2=2 ---) 1

6/x-1-3/y-2=1 ---) 2

let assume,  1/x-1=u, 1/y-2=v

multiply equation 1 by 3, we will get

15* u = 3* v = 6  ---) 3

add equation  2 and 3

21* u = 7

u = (1/3)

x - 1=3

x = 4

b=1/3

y – 2 = 3

y = 5

The final value of x and y is "4" and "5".

Step-by-step explanation:

\ Given \ value:\\ \\ \frac{5}{x-1}+\frac{1}{y-2}=2\\\\ \frac{6}{x-1}-\frac{3}{y-2}=1\\\\ \ find :\\\\x= ? \\\\y= ?\\\\\\ Solution:\\

\frac{5}{x-1}+\frac{1}{y-2}=2....(i)\\\\\frac{6}{x-1}-\frac{3}{y-2}=1...(ii)\\\\ \ multiply \ in \ equation \ i \ by 3 \ the \ add \ from \ equation 2 \\  \frac{15}{x-1}+\frac{3}{y-2}=6\\\\\frac{6}{x-1}-\frac{3}{y-2}=1\\\\\ add \\\\\frac{15}{x-1} +\frac{6}{x-1} = 6+1\\\\\frac{21}{x-1} =7\\\\\ 21 = 7x-7 \\\\ 21+7 = 7x \\\\  \ x= \frac{28}{7}\\\\x= 4\\\\\ put \ the \ value \ of \ x \ in \ equation \ (ii)\\\\\frac{6}{4-1}-\frac{3}{y-2}=1\\\\\frac{6}{3}-\frac{3}{y-2}=1\\\\2-\frac{3}{y-2}=1 \\\\

2-\frac{3}{y-2}=1 \\\\2-1 = \frac{3}{y-2}\\\\1 =\frac{3}{y-2}\\\\y-2 =3\\\\y=5\\
