5(x - 1) + 2(x + 3) + 6 = 0 \\  \\ 5x  - 5 + 2x + 6 + 6 = 0 \\  \\ 7x + 7 = 0 \\  \\ 7x =  - 7 \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 7}{7}  \\  \\   \pink{x =  - 1}

5(x - 1 ) + 2 ( x + 3) + 6 = 0

solution :

5( x - 1 ) + 2 ( x + 3) + 6 = 0

Remove brackets by solving

5x - 5 + 2x + 6 + 6 = 0

7x + 7 = 0

7x = -7

x = -7 / 7

x = -1

so the value of x is -1
