5^{x+1}+5^{2-x}=5^3+1......find x​

5^(x -1) +5^(2- x) =5^3+1

Since base is same we can add all the powers.

5^(x -1+2- x)= 5^4

5^(2x+1)= 5^4..... equation1

Now power of left hand side will be equal to the power of the right hand side.

2x+1=4

2x=3

x=3/2.

Simplification,

from equation 1

5^(2*3/2+1)=5^4

5^(3+1)=5^4

5^4=5^4

625=625
