Answer:

x=0.3 , y=0.55

Step-by-step explanation:

5/x+10/y=35/6 , 2/x+3/y = 2

5y+10x=35÷6 , 2y+3x=2

multiply 2×eqn 1 and 5 ×eqn2

10y+20x=35÷3 , 10y+15x=10

sub eqn 2 from 1

we get,

5x=1.6

x=0.3

put in eqn 2

y=0.55

Answer:

6p+12q-7= 0 -------> eq (1)

2p+3q-2= 0 --------> eq (2)

multiplying equation (2)×2 and

subtracting eq (2) from eq (1) we get,

q= 1/3

(refer to image)

substituting value of q in equation 1 we

get:

6p + (12 \div 3) - 7 = 0

6p + 4 - 7 = 0

6p - 3 = 0

p = 3 \div 6 = 1 \div 2

p = 1/2 and q = 1/3

so x= 2 and y= 3

Hope it helps you!!
