Please Mark as Brainliest

5^x+3^y=14 ;

5^(x-1)+3^(y-1)=4

5^x/5 + 3^y/3=4

let 5^x=P & 3^y= Q

so, (P + Q = 14)×3= 3P + 3Q = 42 ............ (1)

and P/5 + Q/3 = 4

3P + 5Q = 4*15= 60.....................................(2)

Eq 2 - Eq 1, we get

2Q = 18, Q= 9, 3^y = 9 so, y = 2

& P = 14-Q= 14-9=5, 5^x = 5 So, x=1

x=1, & y=2 Answer
