But the given condition
5x+3=3(x+3)
5x+3=3x+9
5x-3x=9-3
2x=6
X=6÷2
X=3
age of father 5years ago = 5x=15
age of son 5years ago =x=3
Therefore present age of son =x+3
=3+3=6
