Five years ago, age of Ganesh =x−5
Age of Gouri =3x−5
After ten years, age of Ganesh =x+10+5
Age of Gouri =3x+10+5=3x+15
According to the question,
3x+15=2(x+15)
3x+15=2x+30
3x−2x=30−15
x=15
Present age of Ganesh =x+5=15+5=20 years
Present age of Gouri =3x+5=315+5=50 years
Age of Gouri =3x−5
After ten years, age of Ganesh =x+10+5
Age of Gouri =3x+10+5=3x+15
