5 years ago Ramesh was 5 times as old as his son Aman was then. Let present ages (in years) of Ramesh and Aman be x and y respectively. Write the given data in the form of linear equation in two variables. Also, represent it graphically.

Let the age of Ramesh be x and Alan be y
Age of Ramesh five years ago= x-5
And age of Aman five years ago = y-5

As per the sum,
x-5=5 (y-5)
x-5=5y-25
x= 5y-20
