Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Ratio of ages of A and B 5 years ago is 3:2

let's assume age of A and B 5 years ago be 3x , 2x

=} Their present ages are 3x + 5 and 2x + 5.

Their ages after 5years are , 3x + 10 and 2x + 10.

According to the problem,

(3x+10)/(2x+10) = 5/4

(3x+10)×4 = (2x+10)×5

12x + 40 = 10x + 50

12x-10x = 50-40

2x = 10

x = 5.

=} Their present ages are 3x+5 and 2x+5

=} 3(5) + 5 = 20yrs

=}2(5) + 5 = 15yrs.

therefore, the present ages of A and B are 20yrs, 15yrs
