Step-by-step explanation:

Let Sania's present age=X

Son's present age =Y

After 5 years , Sania's age=X+5

After 5 years Son's age =Y+5

By the given data, X+5=8/3(Y+5)

3X+15=8Y+40-------(1)

Also 5 years before, Sania's age=X-5

5 years before,Son's age=Y-5

By the given data,

X-5=6(Y-5)

X=5+6(Y-5)=5+6Y-30=6Y-25

X=6Y-25

putting the value of X in(1)

3(6Y-25)+15=8Y+40

18Y-75+15=8Y+40

10Y=75+40-15=100

Y=10

X=6×10-25=60-25=35

Sania's age=35

Son's age =10
