Answer of question no.10

As the other 2 sides are equal 12cm each

it is an iso celestrapezium,

To find height h of the trapezium:

In the Rt.angle triangle

base of the triangle = (40-28)/2 = 12/2=6cm

hypotenuse=12 base=6

height=v 12^2-6^2 = 10.4 cm

Area of trapezium=1/2h (a+b)

a,b are parallel sides 40 and 28

Area = 1/2 x 10.4 (40+28)

5.2x68=353.6 cm2
