a)mass of a substance is defined as the amount of matter present in it. it is constant and will not change with change in position.the SI unit of mass is kilogram .(kg)

b) weigh is defined as the force exerted by gravity on that particular object or thing .it is not constant, it will change when position Changes.the SI unit of weight is Newton (N)

c)relationship between weight and mass is W=F=mg where m is mass ,g is acceleration due to gravity, f is force and w is weight
