Thickness of a coin = 0.14 cm

Thickness of 50 coin = 50*0.14= 7 cm

now,

the cylender forms,

height = 7 cm

radius = 1 cm

as we know,

volume = \pi {r}^{2} h

volume =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {1}^{2}  \times 7

volume = 22 \:  {cm}^{3}

Answer:

21.994

The question asks us to find the volume of cylinder made out of 50 coins. Each coin has a thickness (height) of 0.14 and radius of 1 cm. So if we can find out the volume of one coin, we can find out the answer by multiplying it with 50.

volume of one coin = 3.142 X (1)^2 X 0.14

Result is 0.43988 cm^3.

Therefore, volume of 50 coins = 0.43988 X 50

Results in 21.994 cm^3.
