Calculate the final temperature of the water mixture using the equation T(final) = (m1_T1 + m2_T2) / (m1 + m2), where m1 and m2 are the weights of the water in the first and second containers, T1 is the temperature of the water in the first container and T2 is the temperature of the water in the second container. Under standard conditions of one bar of pressure, water's thermodynamic stable state is liquid. Water will boil at a pressure of 0.122 bar and a temperature of 50 C so if you lower the pressure to less than 12.2% of normal, then its stable state at that pressure will be gas.  50 gms water at 20 ⁰ C and 50 gms of water at 40⁰ C are mixed. Since the masses of the liquid at different temperatures are same, the answer is very easy and simple : average of 20⁰C and 40⁰C. that is: 30⁰C.
