Rain had always looked different from the rest of her family. Her mother had blue ocean eyes with blond hair that beamed like the sun, her brother had light brown eyes with brown hair as soft as a pillow and her father with alluring dark brown eyes and golden hair. Feeling like an outsider, Rain had always envied her family’s looks,She was not physically gifted like the rest of her family. But her personality was magnetic, she had that X factor that people used to get attracted towards her.It's hard to explain it in words but there's something really different about her.
She seems to automatically know how to respond to people, as if she naturally knows what they're thinking or feeling in any sitation at any moment.One day, the family was walking down an old alley, searching for their missing cat. They turn a corner into a rare group of trees at the edge of their city when a storm breaks out. Rain's mother recalls looking down at a helpless baby Rain. It was even the same season and time of day, triggering a vivid memory. It was such a strong memory that Rain caught it. "Mom," Rain asked, "Have we been here before?" Rain's mother looks at her husband, startled by the question. The answer to which would reveal their deepst secret. At that moment, Charles, the cat appears and distracts everyone from the tension. The family heads home to have dinner. After dinner, Rain overhears a conversation between her parents that changes her life. “Mom is it true”, Rain asked, “I-” her mother said,but before she could finish rain aready knew the answer

The mother stared at her daughter observing her facial expressions. Surprisingly Rain actually managed to keep a straight face which showed absolutely no emotion but her heart was racing. Her head was spinning and she tried so hard to look normal that the effort was making her shake all over. Her heart felt like it was tearing into pieces like the paper which she tore as a child. A time before she knew she was adopted.
