Answer

No boiling water inside the Earth satellite is not possible .

Explanation

In the Earth satellite , there is no gravity because it is at a far away distance from the centre of the Earth .

Hence the phenomenon of convection currents would not take place and boiling cannot be done .

Boiling occurs at a high temperature where the gas becomes very light and hence rises up due to its lightness / low density .

But in this case , the gas will never rise because the cold part of the water will not settle down due to absence of gravity .

Convection currents will not occur and hence boiling cannot be done under such circumstances .

  • When we heat water, the water at the bottom becomes hot and light as compared the water at the surface of the top.

  • The presence of gravity makes heavy cold water molecules on the top to go down.

  • Hence, we cannot make water boil on artificial satellite by the process of convection.
