A black hole is similar to a vacuum cleaner, cleaning up debris left behind in outer space.

black holes are known for there unique properties. they have an extremely strong gravitational field which is powerful that not even light can escape.
as a result they are invisible.
however they can be detected of they have a close companion star. the gravity of black hole pulls gas from the other star, forming accretion disc that spirals around the black hole at high speed, heating up and emitting radiation.
