SOLUTION:

Density depends on to many factor like, Temperature, pressure (for liquid and gas)

Nature of matter & states of matter is also one of the factor.

Nature of matter or states of matter define the physical and chemical behaviour of matter.

Let, suppose matter is solid. then its molecular force is much stronger.

thus, they are desnser than other states.

So, Density is ∝  molecular force between molecules of matter

Thus, in general:

Density of; solid > liquid > gas

Their is some exception case like water; water has maximum density (0.9 g/unit volume) at 4 c. when water is in liquid.
