how far is it correct to say that several services which cannot be provided by private sector can provide public sector? explain.

Public sector provides job security.
It also provide convenient surrounding for working.
It is of the view that to serve the people,but private sector is for themselves benifit.

There are services like railways, generating electricity, construction of roads, bridges that require huge capital investment which are at times beyond the capacity of private sector, therefore, public sector takes over.
b. Even if private sector engage in these services they will not be able to provide them at reasonable costs and thus not everybody could afford it and avail its benefits.
c. Public sector also steps in to provide assistance to small scale units. For example, providing cheap credit, electricity at affordable price.
