50 points.... JEE main aspiarant??????
Explain...

. A body of mass 5 kg is acted upon by two perpendicular force
8 N and 6 N, find the magnitude and direction the acceleration
(a) 3 ms-, 0 = cos- (0.8) from 8 m
(b) 2 ms2, 0 = cos-? (0.6) from 6 m
(C) 3 ms-2, 0=cos-? (0.9) from 6 m
(d) 5 ms 2, 0 = cos-? (0.81) from 8 m

SOLUTION

2m/s^2, at an angle of 37° with a force of 8N

Mass of the body, m = 5kg

The resultant of two forces is Given as:

=)R

 \sqrt{(8) {}^{2} + ( - 6) {}^{2}  }  \\  =  >  \sqrt{64 + 36}  \\  =  >  \sqrt{100}  \\  =  > 10

N

theta is an angle made by R with the force of 8N

theta= tan^-1(-6/8)= -36.87°

The negative sign indicates that theta is in the clockwise direction with respect to the force of magnitude 8N.

As per Newton's second law of Motion, the ACCELERATION (a) of the body is given as;

=) F= ma

a= F/m

=) 10/5 = 2 m/s^2

hope it help♥️

hi friend..

2m/s^2, at an angle of 37° with a force of 8N

Mass of the body, m = 5kg

The resultant of two forces is Given as:

=)R

\begin{lgathered}\sqrt{(8) {}^{2} + ( - 6) {}^{2} } \\ = > \sqrt{64 + 36} \\ = > \sqrt{100} \\ = > 10\end{lgathered}

(8)

2

+(−6)

2

=>

64+36

=>

100

=>10

N

theta is an angle made by R with the force of 8N

theta= tan^-1(-6/8)= -36.87°

The negative sign indicates that theta is in the clockwise direction with respect to the force of magnitude 8N.

As per Newton's second law of Motion, the ACCELERATION (a) of the body is given as;

=) F= ma

a= F/m

=) 10/5 = 2 m/s^2

hope it helps you friend..
