⚫.GRAM SABHA– The Gram Sabha is the general body of the village. A gram sabha elects only the members of Gram Panchayat, but also elects its Pradhan or the Head-man.

. GRAM PANCHAYAT– Gram Panchayat who are called Panchs are directly elected for a fixed term of five years by the members of Gram Sabha.
