Use middle splitting method.... for the above quadratic equation!


=> x² + 2x + 1x + 2

=> x (x+2) + 1 (x+2)

=> (x+2) (x+1)

x = -2 or x = -1



Method ll :

=> x² + 3x + 2

=> x² + (2+1)x + 2×1

It is in the form of ----

[ x² + (a+b)x + ab = (x+a) (x+b) ]


x = x, a = 2 , b = 1

=> (x+2) (x+1)


x = -2 or x = -1
