to find mean we have to add up all the numbers and divide by the number of values....so 1st we will add up 85+80+100+60+71+90=486...now u have six values ie 80(1)....85 (2)...100(3)....60(4)....71 (5)...90 (6)....now we have to divide 486 by 6..ie 486÷6 we get 81!! hence the mean of 80,85,100,60,71,90 is 81....hope this helped pl mark as brainliest

first u hav to add all the observations,u get 486 and now u hav to divide it by 6 u get 81 and 81 is the mean of the data and we hav added the observations and divided it by six because we use a formula to find out mean of raw data and that is sum of observations/total no of observations.hope u r satisfied with my answer if so pease do mark my answer as brainly list thanq
