to find mean we have to add up all the numbers and divide by the number of values....so 1st we will add up 85+80+100+60+71+90=486...now u have six values ie 80(1)....85 (2)...100(3)....60(4)....71 (5)...90 (6)....now we have to divide 486 by 6..ie 486÷6 we get 81!! hence the mean of 80,85,100,60,71,90 is 81....hope this helped pl mark as brainliest

Mean formula : ∑fixi÷∑fi
or
Sum of observations ÷ number of observation
Observations are : 80,85,100,60,71,90
Sum of the observations = 486
number of observations = 6
by substituting the above values in the formula
⇒ 486 ÷ 6
⇒ 81
∴ mean of the data i.e. 80,85,100,60,71,90 is "81"
or
Sum of observations ÷ number of observation
Observations are : 80,85,100,60,71,90
Sum of the observations = 486
number of observations = 6
by substituting the above values in the formula
⇒ 486 ÷ 6
⇒ 81
∴ mean of the data i.e. 80,85,100,60,71,90 is "81"
