find the mean of following data. 80,85,100,60,71,90

to find mean we have to add up all the numbers and divide by the number of values....so 1st we will add up 85+80+100+60+71+90=486...now u have six values ie 80(1)....85 (2)...100(3)....60(4)....71 (5)...90 (6)....now we have to divide 486 by 6..ie 486÷6 we get 81!! hence the mean of 80,85,100,60,71,90 is 81....hope this helped pl mark as brainliest

Mean formula :  ∑fixi÷∑fi
                                        or  
                         Sum of observations ÷ number of observation 

Observations are : 80,85,100,60,71,90
Sum of the observations = 486 
number of observations = 6 

by substituting the above values in the formula 
⇒ 486 ÷ 6
⇒ 81 
∴ mean of the data i.e. 80,85,100,60,71,90 is "81"
