Composition of plasma membrane :

✴It is made up of phospholipid bilayer which is bilayred

✴These lipids are arranged within the membrane with polar head towards the outside called (hydrophilic) and the non polar (hydrophobic) tails towards inner side.

✴This ensures that non -polar tail of saturated hydrocarbons or hydrophobic tail is protected from aqueous environment.
