50 workers are employed to complete a work in 60 days. After 40 days some workers left off and remaining workers finished the work in 25 days. How many left off?​

Let 10 workers leave the job after x days

Then fraction of work completed till Xth day = x/60

Now total number of days required to complete the work = 70

x+80*(1-x/60) =70

80–70=4x/3-x

10=x/3

x=10*3=30
