Answer:

Total children= 500

Number of children having sandwich= 180

Number of children not having sandwich= 500-180 = 320

a) Fraction of children who choose sandwich= 180/500= 9/25

b) Percentage of children who choose sandwich= (180/500)* 100 = 36%

c) Percentage of children who did not choose sandwich = 100-36 = 64%

7. To find who scored more, we can find the percentage marks obtained in both the cases

Percentage marks obtained by Arun= (70/80)*100 = 700/8 = 87.5%

Percentage marks obtained by Seema= (80/90)*100 = 800/9 = 88.89%

Hence, Seema scored more out of the two.
