500 ml of water sample was boiled, cooled and filtered. The filtrate was made upto
500ml. 100 ml of this sample was titrated against EDTA and the end point was
obtained at 10 ml of EDTA. 100 ml of standard hard water (1 mg of CaCO3/ml)
required 12 ml of the same EDTA for titration. Calculate the permanent hardness of the
sample.​
