Hello friends

_____________________________

Let write the given values:

Length of the pond (l) = 80 m

Breadth of pond (b) = 50 m

Now, we will calculate the volume for the rise of water level in the pond

We know that,

Volume of cuboid = l x b x

Now put the given values,

volume of the water level in the pond wil be.

= 80 x 50 x h

= 400hm^3

We know that the average Displacement of the water by a person = 0.04 m^2

Hence, the average Displacement of the water by whole person means by 500 person will be,

= 0.04 x 500 m^3

By the given statements,we can understand that,

Volume of the rise of water level in the pond = average Displacement of the water by 500 persons.

by applying the statement we get,

===>>
400h = 500 \times 0.04 \\  \\ h =  \frac{500 \times 0.04}{4000}  \\  \\ h =  \frac{20}{4000}  \\  \\ h =  \frac{1}{200} m \\  \\ h = 0.005m

Now we will convert it into centimeter

So we know that 1m = 100 cm

==> 0.005 x 100 cm

==> 0.5 cm

Therefore, the rise of the water level in the pond is 0.5 cm.

THANKS,,,,,,
