Given that diameter = 77cm.

Then the radius r = d/2

                              = 77/2

We know that circumference = 2pir

                                                 = 2 * 22/7 * 77/2

                                                 = 22 * 11

                                                = 242cm.

1 revolution = 242cm.

Therefore the distance covered by 500 revolutions = 500 * 242

                                                                                        = 121000 cm (or) 1210m.

Hope this helps!

ramavtar1: find tha distance covered by tha wheel of a car 500 revolution if the daiamiterof the wheel is 77

As diameter is 77 cm
Radius = d/2 = 77/2 cm
Hence the perimeter of wheel = 2 * pi * r => 2 * 22/7 * 77/2 => 242 cm^2
Hence distance =number of revolutions * the perimeter
                          = 500 * 242
distance = 121000 cm = 1210 m = 1.21 km
Hence the distance is 1.21 km
